First of all, she got a phone call from Suzi in Pennsylvania who apparently had a run-in with a ceiling fan! In the course of doing her spring cleaning, Suzi was attempting to clean the dust off the blades of the ceiling fan when the fan decided to fight back, leaving Suzi with a broken bone (or two??) in her right hand. She will be out of commission for about 3 weeks, and is going to miss us all terribly. She even tried to dictate a post for Kaylee to type out, but that didn't work out too well!
Secondly, Roni in Ohio called Anthea to say that her father (who is in hospice) is not doing very well. Roni and her Dad are very close, and Anthea and I ask that you remember Roni and her Dad in your prayers, to give them strength to get through this difficult time.
Anthea also asked for prayers for Ginny (Dr. Ducky) in Philly, Little Pat in Ohio, and Shelvy in Ohio, who are all struggling with residual effects of ARD.
Could you also include prayers for Lora's 12-year-old daughter in Ohio - my little Bell's Palsy buddy, who is going through her third episode since the age of 4. She came down with this bout about a week before I did, but where I am seeing some improvement in the facial paralysis, Lora's daughter is not. She sees a neurologist at Children's in two weeks, and is having an MRI to try to get a diagnosis of the damage and hopefully reach some resolution to this.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and
Love, hugs, and prayers,
Nancy and Anthea
